Ross Herr Kayaking

Best of 2010

Well it’s been a long time since I’ve been on here and my only excuse is the fact that I have done nothing fun or interesting worth writing about since the Green Race. But, today school was evacuated due to a “serious threat,” and it got me thinking about how much more I enjoy the simpler days of summer when all I need to worry about is who I’m teaching to kayak today and where I’m going paddling after work.

This past summer season in Colorado was my favorite yet. It’s taken so much time for me to finally knock off almost all the classics over the course of a couple seasons. This past year I was able to get them all in during the short 3 month summer break. I think the most important part of linking them all together was having such an awesome group of friends to coordinate it with and hit the road. Below are some of my favorite shots from the summer. I hope, if you’re like me, these will help you get through the dry or cold spell and get you fired up for what is shaping up to be an awesome spring. Unfortunately most of my CO footage is video so I also included a couple links at the bottom.
